Butterfly Poem

A little garden,
Fragment and full of roses.
The path is narrow
And a little boy walks along it.

A little boy, a sweet boy,
Like that growing blossom.
When the blossom comes to bloom,
The little boy will be no more.

  1. I like how you decorated your butterfly I like how you drew the after and before and how they were dead that was so sad and I also like your poem when it said "a sweet boy like that growing blossom".

  4. Your butterfly shape is so pretty. Your butterfly matched the poem very well. Why is the flower roses? Couldn't it have been just simply flowers? The poem is about the children who will die after the flowers bloom/grow. Maybe roses represent a significant symbol in the poem.

  5. Your butterfly looks nice. I like how you drew a roses to go along with the poem. Do you think that the child is talking about how life was different before they went to the camp? After reading your poem it makes me feel like the child has a good and happy life before they went to the camp. After reading your thinglink you helped me understand more about when the text said " when the blossom comes to bloom, the little boy will be no more "

  6. The Your butterfly looks so nice, and your poem looks a happy and sad poem in the same time, you are maybe saying why did I said that but I said that because half of your butterfly is nice and the other half is a desastrosa so what do you think is your butterfly is going to survive or not.

  8. I think the boy died because, the poem said "Like that growing blossom.
When the blossom comes to bloom,
The little boy will be no more." Meaning the boy died. The design of the poem showing a grave stone tells that he died as well. What do you think about the poem Adrian. My answer to what you're thinking you probably sad how fast the poem went to the boy died I was even surprised how fast that esculated.

  11. You did good with showing the before an after in your butterfly. To distinguish what happened after the Nazi came and started to control the Jews. Why do you think there was such difference in the sky. One side is sunny & the other is more dark to represent the sadness that spread. In the poem it says 'Fragment and full of roses.' It shows how it was only such a small spot covered and filled with that happiness that used to be.

  12. Your butterfly looks very good. I liked how you drew the flowers to represent when the poem said "When the blossom comes to bloom, the little boy will be no more". Why did you drew the sun lighter on before and darker on after? I think you did that so it can have a meaning that it use to be a happy calm day on before and full of darkness on after. I really liked the part in the poem when it said, "A little boy, a sweet boy, like that growing blossom."

  13. The drawing is good. I like the part where you said The poem says "When the flower blooms the little boy will be no more".The next day the flowers ended up blooming but beside it a grave lays. Once the flower bloomed that kid was no more. The dot and the drawing was really good because you clearly wrote the meaning. Why you drew After and before drawing? I think you should have draw a boy walking around, the garden or probably there.Everything else was great because you had a short Poem.

  14. The butterfly is so nice, each drawing you drew is match with poems how the person write, same time the poem is sad because they are talking about the boy or remember about him.

  15. I liek your picture is pretty creative and I like it. I like how you had an After and Before drawing its pretty amazing. It talks of all nice kinds things, sweet but at the end it like drops down a whole lot wich makes it deep and scary. Could the flower that bloomed be the kid taht is no more?

  16. Your butterfly is so pretty I love the body shape of it. Why do you think in the poem it says that "the little boy will be no more"? Is that supposed to represent him passing away or the boy not being treated like that in the camp because he is leaving? I think it means that the boy is leaving the camp so he wouldn't be treated like that so that's why he is saying the boy no more.

  17. I like how you did your butterfly and the design. I like how you added the roses but it seems that your author died because of the part with the flowers.

  18. Adrian! I really like your poem and your drawings and representation on the poem is amazing! Great job on your coloring as well, I really like that you colored everything on your butterfly and left no white spots in the coloring. I feel like this gives your butterfly a stronger feeling. I like how on one side their is basically a colorful or bright grave. Meanwhile on the other side, there is a dark and no longer a grave? Is there a reason why the grave is no longer there on the right wing? I think the reason that the grave is no longer there means that time has taken this to be unimportant and forgotten. It is no longer there if we don't understand it and it just seems sad to me how we are clueless to identify that this happened . This is important to know. All the stories of these kids and people. Great job on your blog Adrian! Really liked your representation of your poem!
